me and my artist statement

I am a dancer, choreographer and performer. I explore ways to incorporate performance and site-specific art elements into shared experiences, which I believe fuel our creativity and imagination. I like to break conventions and use different styles at the same time. I founded the good-girl-killer group with Anna Steller, with whom we have been showing our works in urban spaces, theater spaces, galleries. My First assumption when I work on a performance is to work in process. The most important motivation is to look for a specific and appropriate quality of movement to build an expressive and sincere statement. I have created several solo works, but above all I value contact with other artists. I am happy to collaborate with people who deal with a variety of subjects that do not necessarily fall into the category of art. My great fascination is herbs, buds, plant shoots and other living forms of the earth’s ecosystems that we collectively create. I try to be an open-eyed consumer. I am based in Gdansk.
